LANGHORNE, PA- The Highlanders endured the elements today, fighting through whipping wind and the occasional snowflake to outlast the visiting Keystone Giants and win their fourth match of the season.

In doubles play, the ever reliable team of Mariah Wilson and Ellie Santos quickly dispatched their opponents with an 8-2 for the first doubles point of the day; while, Joy Englehart and Katelyn Loveless came through with another victory to tally the Highlanders second point of the day.

The Highlanders were able to unseat the Giants in singles play as well, taking an excellent four of six possible points. Mariah Wilson took the first singles point with her 6-3, 6-1 victory over Keystone's Sarah Heintz. Playing out of the number one singles spot was
Kara Williams, who notched an impressive 6-0, 6-1 win in her match against Samantha Clelski. Rachel Smith continued her stellar freshman year by sweeping her match 6-0, 6-0, and recent CSAC Honor Roll performer Ellie Santos carded a 6-0, 6-3 victory for the Highlanders sixth point of the day.

Cairn will be in action again tomorrow afternoon when they face off against Penn State Brandywine in an out-of-conference matchup. Â
