Missing two steady presences in Malachi Hall and
Jordan Koczman the Highlanders were hard-pressed to find consistent offense, and losing freshman Richard Rosas to injury after 14 minutes even further strained the Highlanders ranks. The Highlanders did have a couple bright spots as freshman Clarence Brunot played the finest game of his freshman campaign, tallying 20 points on 7-10 shooting to lead the Highlander offense.
Josh Decker netted 13 points of his own on three three-pointers, and Antoine Nunnally came close to another double-double with 11 points and 8 rebounds of his own.
