LANGHORNE, PA- In search of their second straight victory, the Highlanders hosted CSAC opponent Notre Dame (MD) University, leading wire-to-wire and winning by a final score of 69-47.

Riding high after a win against Bryn Mawr College earlier this week, the Highlanders leapt out to a 17-4 lead to take full control of the first quarter.
Kendra Stum and
Aigner Bookard combined to score the game's first 12 points and 16 total in the first quarter. Freshman guard
Jenna Krage caught fire from beyond the arc in the second quarter, tallying her third three of the game with 5 seconds remaining to give Cairn a 36-26 lead. Bookard, Stum, and Krage combined to outscore the entire Gators team in the first half with 31 points between the three guards.

Bookard continued her excellent play in the second half, consistently putting pressure on the Notre Dame defense with her drives to the rim- making three layups and four free throws in the second half to lead the Highlanders offensive efforts. With an excellent effort on the glass, the Highlanders were able to keep the Gators at bay, stretching their lead and winning by a final score of 69-47.

Aigner Bookard tied her season-high with 21 points, while
Kendra Stum tallied a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Jenna Krage also notched 13 points, and
Payton Emerick made her mark across the board with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The Highlanders will seek their third win of the season Saturday when they host Cedar Crest College at 1:00 PM.
