ALLENTOWN, PA- The Highlanders took to the road, traveling to face off against one of the CSAC's top teams in the Cedar Crest Falcons. Despite their best efforts, the Highlanders were unable to overcome the Falcons' high-powered offense.

The Falcons jumped on Cairn from the start, tallying six straight points to start the contest. The Highlanders bounced back with a block from
Haley Sheehan, and kills from
Lyntia Gwess and
Allison Barnes, but they fell in the first 25-10. A service run from
Brooke Seidel led Cairn to the lead in the second set, but Cedar Crest came storming back in front of their home crowd, taking the second set 25-13. Down 2-0, the Highlanders were unable to outlast the Falcons relentless attack and fell in the match 3-0.

The Highlanders will be back in action on Saturday when they host Rosemont College in CSAC play at 12:00 PM.
