LANGHORNE, PA- On an afternoon filled with the celebration, the Highlanders kept rolling with a 6-0 victory over Clarks Summit University to clinch their first ever CSAC playoff berth.

The Highlanders honored the excellent careers of
Carly Eubank,
Mackenzie Paugh, and
Laura Tarbert in a pregame ceremony - each of these players have been pivotal in the women's soccer teams continued improvement, and they were rewarded for their work one more time with a huge victory over the Clarks Summit Defenders. Cairn jumped on Clarks Summit from the start, notching an incredible 10 shots over the first 20 minutes. The Highlanders versatile midfielder
Sara Hayduchok broke the deadlock in the 32
nd minute with a beautifully chipped shot high over the Defenders keeper and into the back of the net. The score stood at 1-0 until Tori Ruitto stepped up to a free kick from 35 yards out and smashed her 7
th goal of the season into the back of the net.

Taking a 2-0 lead into the second half the Highlanders poured it on, as the recently returned
Lauren Costa showed no signs of injury, blazing past the defense and notching two goals in the 59
th minute to put the game firmly in hand. The Highlanders continued to press for more and were rewarded with a scrappy goal from
Dakota Hitchner, and another
Katie Ruitto goal in the 87
th minute.

With the win the Highlanders stretch their streak to 7 games without a loss and officially clinched a CSAC playoff berth for the first time in program history. The Highlanders will host the CSAC's top team, Centenary University, this Saturday at 2:30 PM.
