Active Bats Lead To 16-6 Win Over Central Penn

Langhorne, PA – Cairn baseball improved to 8-7 on the season with a 16-6 win over Central Penn College on Wednesday afternoon behind 21 hits and nine total strikeouts. John Burlaga started the game and picked up the win for the Highlanders on the mound, while Andrew Clarks got the loss for the Knights.

The Highlanders started out with a flurry of hits as the first five batters reached base safely with a hit. Morales was able to advance to third on the throw and advance home on an error by the third baseman.

Following the five-run first inning, the Highlanders added two more in the second inning and another six in the fourth inning. The Highlanders batted around in the fourth and saw an RBI-triple from Lang as well as RBI-doubles from Trent Fiori and Zachary Vegh.
