Radnor, PA – The Highlanders traveled to Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon where they fell to the Cavaliers 82-37 and dropped to 4-9 in the conference. Cairn University had just five players score points in the game, with none scoring in double digits.
Both
Amie Eppolito and
Devon Rink scored nine points and collected five rebounds in the game, while
Kendra Stum finished with seven points and seven rebounds.
Aigner Bookard and
Amy Faust each had six points in the game.
The Cavaliers pulled away in the game by forcing the Highlanders to commit 36 turnovers and scoring 36 points off of those turnovers. Cabrini led the game the entire way and shot a field goal percentage of 42.4% with 56 points in the paint.
Cairn fell to 5-16 overall with the loss, while Cabrini improved to 13-8 overall and 10-2 in the conference with the win. The Highlanders will next host the University of Valley Forge in a non-conference matchup on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m.
