Baltimore, MD – The Highlanders faced off against the Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland University on Wednesday evening to continue CSAC play for the 2015 season. Cairn dropped to 0-12 overall and 0-4 in the CSAC with a 3-0 loss (25-11, 25-7, 25-12) to Notre Dame.

Cairn had five kills in the match, led by Whitney Seidel with three. Seidel was followed up by Haley Sheehan with two. Kylie McCann collected one ace in the match, while Abigail Litman led the team in digs with five. Breanna Blair had four assists over the three sets. Seidel also had one solo block in the match.

Notre Dame put away 26 kills in the match, led by Ashley Pasker with 11. Cleaya Antes led from the service line with nine aces as well as five digs, while Jaime Reyes had 19 assists overall.

The Gators improved to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in the CSAC with the win. Cairn will next host Summit University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, Oct. 3, for homecoming with an 11 a.m. start time.
