Cairn lost to Marymount earlier in the season in Langhorne, Pa., also by a 3-0 score. The Highlanders now post a 10-15 overall record and 0-10 CVC record this season. The Saints improved to 11-16 overall and 3-5 in the conference with the win.

Andy Willits with eight kills on 19 attempts.
Randall Colson added four kills and two other players had three.
David Dager led the team with four digs.
The Highlanders and Saints started out the match evenly, with Cairn having the edge 7-6. From there though, Marymount went on a 9-2 run to lead the first set 15-9. Cairn tried to claw their way back and brought the score to within three at 21-18 but could not finish the comeback.
The Saints jumped out to an early lead in the second set 7-2 and then built a lead of 14-5. Marymount held that margin until the final score of 25-15.
For the third set,
Alex Lower was switched out for
Josiah Buss in the setter position, and
David Dager came in to play outside hitter. Cairn remained even with Marymount until the score was 8-8; similar to the first set. However, once again Marymount took over from there and won the third set 25-18.
The Highlanders will return to action this Friday when they host Thiel College for their senior night in Langhorne, Pa.
