Box Score Farmingdale State 5, Cairn 1BOX SCOREFarmingdale, NY: The Cairn University Men's Soccer team hit the road on Saturday to take on the Rams of Farmingdale State.
The Rams defeated the Highlanders 5-1 scoring three unanswered goals in the second half.
Cairn was able to cut into the Farmingdale lead at the 61:50 mark of the second half when junior Ahron Park (Newark, DE / Dover) scored his first goal on the season on an assist from Craig Kikendall (Philadelphia, PA / LaSalle). Park was able to beat the keeper with his shot in the upper right corner from fifteen yards out.
The Rams responded scoring goals at the 69:37, 83:30 and 89:12 marks.
Freshman goalie Caleb Pancoast (Pennsauken, NJ / Pennsauken) recorded four saves.
The Highlanders return home on Wednesday when they host longtime rival Lancaster Bible College at 4 p.m.
