Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Dunmore, PA- The Lady Highlanders traveled to play Marywood University in doubleheader action Sunday afternoon.  Two consecutive doubleheaders took its toll on Cairn as they were defeated in both contests by the league-leading Pacers, 8-0 and 8-0.

On a day where Cairn was completely stifled by the overwhelming pitching of Marywood, the Lady Highlanders were unable to summon enough offensive firepower to overcome the Pacers.  The Lady Highlanders only tallied four hits the entire afternoon in perhaps the worst performance of their so far superb season.  The Lady Highlanders currently sit in the middle of the standings in the CSAC and have a big upcoming week with eight games in the next five days.  Beginning with Penn State Hazelton and Eastern University, Cairn will then battle two conference opponents in Immaculata and Centenary College this weekend.  Four conference wins and an eight win week could vault the Lady Highlanders to the top of the conference standings and an impressive overall record.  Only time will tell.
