Latham, NY - The United East has announced its 2026 Softball All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners.

Cairn University Softball had 2 players selected to the United East All-Conference teams following the 2026 season.

The first Highlander selected was senior catcher Myiah Petroro (Long Island, NY / Liberty University Online Academy). Petroro was named to the All-Conference second team after slashing .408/.477/.694 over the course of the season. Petroro paced the Highlanders offense in runs, total bases, and walks this season. Additionally Petroro recorded 10 triples this season, breaking the program records for single season and career triples. Petroro's 10 3-baggers also led Division III. 

The second Highlander to receive the All-Conference honors was Sophmore Aerynne Mays (Easton, PA / Wilson Area High School) who was selected to the All-Conference second team as a utility player. Mays led Cairn's offense in hits, RBIs, and doubles while putting together a .489/.516/.693 slash line for the season. On the defensive side Mays was a true utility player for the Highlanders splitting time between third base, shortstop and serving as the Highlander's backup catcher.
