Box Score 2 Baltimore, MD- The Lady Highlanders traveled to Baltimore seeking to carry on their recent hot streak, after recording wins in each of their last four contests. Unable to achieve a third straight sweep Cairn won the first contest 3-1, but dropped the second matchup by a score of 7-4.

, who terrorized the Gators the entire second contest, manufactured a run for Cairn in the first with a single and two straight stolen bases. After a groundout from her sister,
Jocelyn Good, Jessica trotted home to score the game's first run. Not giving in, the Gators fought back to score two runs and take the lead in the second inning. In the top of the third, the Lady Highlanders capitalized on three Notre Dame errors to score two runs and retake the lead once again, 3-2. The Gators scored again in the next frame to tie the game, but the Lady Highlanders would take the lead for the third and final time in the top of the fourth. A triple from center fielder

Good to single her in and take the lead 4-3. Two crucial errors would prove to be the Lady Highlanders undoing, as they allowed Notre Dame to score four runs and take a 7-4 lead, which would prove to be the games final score.
Jessica Good shone for the Lady Highlanders in the second matchup, going 3-4 with two RBI's and two stolen bases.
The Lady Highlanders have a much needed rest, not playing again until Friday and Saturday afternoons when they will host Gwynedd Mercy and Baptist Bible College in their final two conference doubleheaders of the season. Sitting firmly in the middle of the CSAC standings, Cairn will look to win out over the weekend to vault themselves up the standings and into playoff position. To do so the Lady Highlanders will need to upset the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy in Friday's contest beginning at 3:00 PM.
