Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Immaculata, PA- The Lady Highlanders dropped an in-conference doubleheader this weekend against the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University by scores of 6-1 and 9-6.

The Lady Highlanders took an early lead in their first contest against the Mighty Macs when Brigid Shehan knocked in Jessica Good for the games first run.  Cairn squandered their lead over the next six innings due to a rough third inning and a series of errors.  Lady Highlander pitcher Tiffany Gower pitched six innings and gave up only one earned run for Cairn, but the Lady Highlanders still dropped the first contest 6-1.

The second game was a back-and-forth affair that saw three different lead changes and a run in nearly every inning.  Pitcher Kelly Hendrickson gave the Lady Highlanders their first lead of the game when she batted in Good for an RBI.  Immaculata responded with four runs to take the lead, but the top of the Lady Highlanders lineup manufactured three runs of their own tying the game up once again.  Two straight doubles from Gower and Hendrickson brought the Lady Highlanders as close 7-6, but the Mighty Macs wound up on top winning the second matchup 9-6.
