Box Score Langhorne, PA- On a night where seniorsÂ
Charles Hopkins andÂ

Box Score
Cairn and juniorÂ
Reuben Lacy came busting out of the gate as the forward scored twelve of the Highlanders first fourteen points and staked Cairn to an early lead.  The Highlanders cooled off though, and Rosemont came charging back into the contest, as the Ravens slowly wore at the Highlanders by pounding the ball inside in the paint.  Rosemont took the lead with a Dom Scafidi free throw, but Cairn was able to keep the game relatively close for the remainder of the first half.  AnÂ
Omar Askia free throw brought the Highlanders within five points with a minute and twenty seconds left on the clock. Â
Lacy had an exceptional first period for the Highlanders, tallying 14 points and 9 rebounds for the half.  DespiteÂ
Lacy's efforts, Cairn trailed 37-29 at the close of the first half.
Rosemont cashed in a three pointer to begin the second half, but that's when Cairn'sÂ
Omar Askia heated up.  Askia poured in nine straight points, single-handedly bringing the Highlanders within two points of the Ravens.  However, two straight steals and layups by Rosemont's Khai Roberts sparked the Ravens on a 13-1 run that Cairn could not overcome.  The lead Rosemont built from that run proved to be insurmountable for the Highlanders as they would fall by a score of 66-84. Â
The Highlanders were led tonight by:
Reuben Lacy (18 points, 10 rebounds)
Omar Askia (16 points, 8 rebounds)
Cairn will host the recently crowned number two team in the country, Cabrini College on Monday night at 7:00 PM.
