The Highlanders wrap up their conference schedule with a 2-20 record within the Colonial States Athletic Conference, tying their win total from last season and most since their 8-14 record in 2010. Overall, Cairn sits at 6-29 with one more doubleheader scheduled against Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Delaware Valley College. Their six wins this season already surpassing 2012's five win season.

Some strong pitching from the Ravens limited the Highlanders to only three hits in the opening game, but didn't stop Cairn from getting on the board first. Kristen Hubler's fielder's choice in the top of the first allowed Jessica Good to give Cairn a 1-0 lead.

Rosemont responded with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning, claiming a 3-1 and would never relinquish the lead, slowly building their lead to 9-1. To Kelly Hendrickson's credit, the Cairn pitcher only allowed one earned run for the game.

Four different Ravens had two or more hits.

Cairn managed a few more hits the second time around, notching seven in the night cap but it still wasn't enough. Rosemont clung to a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth inning when they extended their lead to 10-3 with five insurance runs, and adding an additional tally in the sixth, culminating in an 11-3 score line.

Brigid Shehan led the offense for Cairn, going 2 for 3 at the plate with a run and an RBI.
