Langhorne, PA - The Highlanders hosted Centenary College on Sunday, April 21, but the Cyclones pitching was too strong for Cairn. Centenary swept the Highlanders 0-8 and 0-15.
Over the course of the doubleheader, the Highlanders only managed a total of five hits total.
The Cairn defense was too shabby in the opening game, as freshman pitcher
Jessica Good only allowed nine hits but the Cyclones made the most of them with eight runs. Good also managed two of Cairn's three hits in the game, finishing 2 for 2.
Centenary won the first game 8-0.
In game two, the Cyclones only managed two hits in the first two innings before their offense exploded for six runs in the top of the third, followed by a seven run fourth inning. Brigid Shehan and
Kelly Hendrickson earned the only hits for Cairn in game two, both going 1 for 2.
