Box Score Langhorne, PA - Cairn University hosted DeSales University in women's soccer on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference fixture that saw the Bulldogs power past the Highlanders, 4-0.

DeSales outshot the Lady Highlanders 18-2 on the day, but another marked improvement from Cairn who lost to the same opponent 8-0 a season ago.

DeSales' Brady Walsh tallied twice in the opening 25 minutes to give the visiting Bulldogs a 2-0 lead, before Jessica Wetherhold added one more goal before halftime in the 33rd minute.

Despite unleashing 14 second half shots, the Bulldogs only managed one more goal, coming in the 65th minute from the boot of Ariel Merkt.

Naomi Collipp finished with six saves on the evening.

Cairn falls to 3-7-2 on the season and will hope for an upset of Rosemont College this weekend.
