Scranton, PA – The men's soccer team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference fixture to Marywood University on Saturday afternoon, 4-0.

Following a 7-3 start to the season, including a five-game winning streak, the Highlanders have been hit with the injury bug with several players missing in action on the current three-game losing streak.
On Saturday, the Pacers got on the board first in the 9th minute on Matt Hull's goal. Hull converted a shot from the top of the box after a Cairn clearance fell to his feet.
Just two minutes later, Marywood was awarded a penalty-kick, giving them a 2-0 lead.
The Pacers added insurance goals in the 30th and 60th minutes en route to the 4-0 win.
Cairn falls to 7-6 on the season and 2-3 in the CSAC.
The upcoming week will prove crucial in the Highlanders hunt for their first post-season run since joining the CSAC in 2008. Cairn will face-off with longtime rivals Baptist Bible College on Wednesday in Langhorne. The game is set for 2pm.
