PBU's Kelly Hendrickson (Southampton, PA / William Tennet) pitched a grueling 12 innings in her 11th game pitching in a row. She didn't get much help offensively from her fellow Crimson Eagles who seem to struggle with the pitching tandem of Polytechnic's Merilli and Feist, who gave up only a combined 9 hits over the two games.

Sara Poole (Edison, NJ / Timothy Christian) did go 3-for-5 on the day but that was about as good as it got for the Crimson Eagles on offense.

The hightlight of the day, however, had to go to Brigid Shehan (Media, PA / Penncrest) who in the top of the 6th inning made the 3rd and final out of the inning, with runners in scoring position and running the bases, when she made a diving catch from center field on Polytechnic's Brianna Feist driven ball.

The Crimson Eagles will get three days of rest before hosting back-to-back doubleheaders at the start of next week against Keystone College and Baptist Bible College.
