Scranton, PA - On Friday afternoon, Philadelphia Biblical University traveled up the Northeast Extension to take on CSAC power-house Marywood University, who is still vying for a top-seed in the conference playoffs.

In game one of the doubleheader, Marywood's pitcher Alexandra Stine limited the Crimson Eagles to only 3 hits on the day severely hampering PBU's ability to put runs on the scoreboard.
Ashley Mitchell (Fairless Hills, PA / Pennsbury) did her part for the Crimson Eagles with her 2-for-2 performance at the plate while scoring PBU's lone run in the 9-1 defeat.

The nightcap to the doubleheader was not pretty from a Crimson Eagle perspective. The Pacers overwhelmed PBU with 17 runs in the first 3 innings.
