Softball Notches 1st Win

Myrtle Beach, SC - The 2012 Philadelphia Biblical University Softball team and 1st year Head Coach Ed Howell have their first win of the season and it only took one day.

Competing in the National Collegiate Sports Invitational down in Myrtle Beach, SC, the Crimson Eagles will be playing 4 games in the course of 3 days.

PBU opened their season today at 9:30am against Robert Morris University-Springfield. In a close outing, the Crimson Eagles were clipped 5-6 in their first match.

However, later in the day Ed Howell and the Crimson Eagles would be on the positive end of another one point game, outlasting Principia College 10-9.

PBU opened their season 1-1 and will have a day off down in beautiful South Carolina before returning to action on Thursday against Eureka College and Concord University.
