Crimson Eagles Outpaced

Box Score

SCRANTON, PA -
The Crimson Eagles were simply no match for the Pacers of Marywood University.

The Pacers ran away with the match 8-1 in PBU's CSAC opener.

Marywood's ladies were able to get an astounding 23 shots on frame out of 28 total shots. It goes without saying that Crimson Eagle shot-stopper Naomi Collipp had her work cut out for her. She was able to come up with 15 saves, but found herself pulling the ball out of the back of the net almost every two shots.

Seven different players would score for Marywood. Alexis Hilliker would get two. Emma Nye scored one, but had seven shots on frame.

In a twist of irony, PBU was able to get one shot the entire game and it beat Pacers goalkeeper Meredith Moore.

Marywood improves to 2-0 in the CSAC, while PBU starts off 0-1.

The Crimson Eagles will look to gather themselves when they take on Cabrini College this Saturday, September 24. The match will take place at Cabrini.
