LANGHORNE, PA -
Playing the top team in the CSAC, the Crimson Eagles hung tough for the opening five innings of action against their highly touted counterpart. But Centenary eventually got their bats rolling en route to a pair of wins over PBU Thursday afternoon.

Limiting the high scoring Cyclones to just two runs throughout the opening five innings of the first contest, the visitors finally found their groove down the stretch. Centenary tacked on two additional sores in the fifth and exploded in the sixth by logging five more scores, pushing their edge to 9-0.

The Cylcones ripped off 15 hits for the game while PBU narrowly escaped getting no-hit as Kim Martin's lone solo in the fifth broke rookie hurler Meagan Madsen's no-hitter.

Game two saw Centenary jump out from the get-go as the visitors logged scores in all five stanzas of play. Ten runs in the final two frames helped the visitors cruise to a 16-0 victory in the nightcap as the Crimson Eagles managed just a single hit during the second outing as well as Martin once again spoiled a Centenary no-hitter.

PBU will return to action on Monday at home against the College of Notre Dame. Game time is 3:00 pm.
