CLARKS SUMMIT, PA -
Baptist Bible College defeated the Crimson Eagles by scores of 9-0 and 22-4 Saturday afternoon as the visitors struggled to create runs throughout.

Defender freshman hurler Kacee Rava tossed a no hitter during the five inning first game as PBU generated just a solo base runner off a walk for the contest.

Baptist knocked around nine hits in the win and were gifted with three PBU defensive blunders en route to their third shutout win of the season.

In game two, PBU picked up their offensive production by manufacturing five hits and four scores but Baptist exploded for 22 runs on 22 hits during a game that saw the host group score 10 runs in the third inning alone. Seven different players posted a multi-hit game for the Defenders.

Kim Martin charted two singles, a run, and a solo ribbie for the visitors while Sara Poole, Cynthia Salgado, and Emily Maricle each added one hit.

The Crimson Eagles will return to the diamond on Tuesday for their first home contest of the season. PBU will take on Centenary College in Langhorne at 3:00 pm.
