CLARKS SUMMIT, PA - Philadelphia Biblical University's Rachel Brubaker launched a shot from 25-yards out that found the back of the net, for the combative junior's first goal of the season.

Brubaker's goal was a game-tying goal in the 22nd minute, but the tie wouldn't last for long. Just over a minute later, BBC had restored their lead.

BBC's Erin Law had originally put the Defenders up in the 9th minute. After Brubakers equaliser, Carly Harper would restore BBC's lead in the 23rd minute off of a free-kick. Law would score once more before the half for her 2nd of the game, putting Baptist up 3-1 heading into halftime.

Baptist would add one more tally in the second half to make the final score 4-1.

PBU's Sara Poole continues to impress in goal, despite the score line. She came up with 7 saves on the day.

The Crimson Eagles return to the field on Wednesday, October 19 against another Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent in Gwynedd-Mercy.
