Cavaliers Cruise During 81-54 Triumph Over PBU

LANGHORNE, PA -
Cabrini College sprinted past the Crimson Eagles 81-54 Saturday afternoon as the Cavaliers used a 61.1 percent shooting clip during the opening frame to build a 50-33 edge by the break.

Six different players scored seven or more points for the top team in the CSAC during a game that saw the Crimson Eagles knock down just 36.8 percent of their looks at the bucket.

PBU shot six for 14 from the charity stripe on a night that saw the group score just 21 second half points.

Adam Derus led the Crimson Eagles with 13 points while Jeff Bishop added nine points and 11 boards.

The team will return to action on Tuesday during a date with Valley Forge Christian College in Langhorne at 8:00 pm.
