DOYLESTOWN, PA - Playing a formidable Delaware Valley College team Wednesday afternoon, the Crimson Eagles struggled to slow down the Aggies' opportunistic offense as the host group ultimately prevailed, 5-1.

The host group made sure to capitalize when given the chance Wednesday, logging a season high mark of five goals during their fifth win of the year.

Tyler Yankovich notched a pair of first half goals four minutes apart to help boost the Aggies to a 2-0 edge less than fifteen minutes into the contest.

PBU's defense would lock down for the remainder of the stanza but Delaware Valley tacked on three second half scores during the back end of play to take a 5-0 edge.

The Crimson Eagles' Samuel Hunter broke the visitor's silence notching PBU's lone goal on the afternoon with 1:21 left in the contest, signaling the first collegiate goal of his career.

The Aggies managed an 18-10 edge in shots for the day, a number that marks their highest single game output of the season.

PBU falls to 2-5 on the year while Delaware Valley moves to 5-2-1 overall.

The Crimson Eagles will return to the field on Saturday for a home conference tilt against Marywood University. Game time is 3:00 pm.
