LANGHORNE, PA - Playing in their final non-conference double-header of the season, the Crimson Eagles' offense was shut down against Delaware Valley College on Tuesday.
PBU failed to register a single hit during their opening contest with the Aggies, getting blanked for just the third time this season during Becky Furman's no hitter. Delaware Valley scored nine runs on just five hits during the win, getting aid from 13 walks during their four innings at the plate.
Although the Crimson Eagles managed to churn out four hits during the nightcap with the Aggies, the visitors nonetheless fell 9-1 in what marks their fourth consecutive loss.
Kim Martin posted two hits during the second contest while Molly Wilson and Kirsten Lyszczasz each carded one.
The Crimson Eagles slip to 11-21 on the year while Delaware Valley moves to 13-16.
PBU will play in their second-to-last regular season contest this Friday during a 3:00 pm date with Centenary College on the road.
