LANGHORNE, PA - It rained in more ways than one during PBU's match-up with Rosemont College Thursday afternoon.
In addition to several sporadic showers from above, the Crimson Eagles poured on the runs during their double-header with the Ravens, logging 38 scores in back-to-back wins.
Needing to secure a tandem of victories in order to remain in the postseason hunt, PBU did just that Thursday, blitzing the visiting Ravens by scores of 16-2 and 22-1.
The Crimson Eagles battered around 32 his on the afternoon while collecting 15 walks throughout the two games, by far season highs in both categories.
Additionally, the tandem of Kristen Lyszczasz and Molly Wilson proved more than effective in the circle as the duo allowed just seven hits through two games from the mound.
Jackie Morrow provided five hits, six runs, and six ribbies to lead PBU offensively and Courtney Erndl posted five hits, four RBI's and three scores. Ten different players reached base at least once for the host group on the day.
With a current mark of 8-8 in conference play, the Crimson Eagles will return to action during their final home contest on Saturday, taking on Neumann College at 1:00 pm.
