LANGHORNE, PA - Having played eight consecutive non-conference outings to kick off the season, Thursday's meeting with Keystone College signaled somewhat of a "new season" for the Crimson Eagles.

Realizing the significance of Thursday's date with the Giants, PBU willed out a 4-3 triumph during the opening contest. Up 3-1 through four innings, Keystone came through in the top of the sixth, notching two scores to even things at 3-apiece.

But behind some clutch work at the plate with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, the host group snagged their first conference win of the year in the form of a 4-3 win. Kim Martin tossed a complete game in the triumph, allowing just two hits while striking out five.

Game two proved to be a different story all-together as the Keystone rallied 11 runs - including seven in a single inning - to ring out a convincing 11-1 triumph. The Giants knocked around 14 hits during the win while collecting seven free passes to first base.

Caroline DeHart, Jackie Morrow, and Sara Poole each paced PBU with two hits throughout the afternoon.

The Crimson Eagles move to 4-7 on the year while Keystone currently sits at 7-10-1.

PBU will return to action next Tuesday when the group hosts Baptist Bible College at 3:00 pm.
