LANGHORNE, PA - Visiting Rutgers-Camden University pulled out two wins over PBU in Langhorne on Saturday as the Scarlet Raptors secured victories of 7-1 and 10-2.
Despite churning out eight hits during the opening contest, the Crimson Eagles managed just a single score. The group was hindered with three untimely errors in the losing effort.
Game two saw the host group belt out 12 hits - compared with eight for Rutgers - but PBU managed just two scores on their 12 knocks, stranding 10 runners for the game.
Sara Poole posted five hits on the day while Molly Wilson added four.
The Crimson Eagles slip to 3-7 on the year while the Scarlet Raptors improve to 9-4.
PBU will return to the field on Tuesday, taking part in their first conference game of the season against Cabrini College on the road at 3:00 pm.
