MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The softball team finished their season opening trip in Myrtle Beach by going 3-3 during the three-day stint down south.
During a scoring monsoon, PBU's 13 runs somehow wasn't enough to overcome a Hilbert College squad that ended up crossing home plate on 16 different occasions. The Crimson Eagles rebounded during day one by notching a 12-5 triumph over Albright College.
PBU pushed their winning streak to two early Wednesday morning, overcoming Bay Path College 7-2. However, their high powered offense through the group's first three games sputtered throughout their fourth outing against Stevenson University as the Mustangs blanked the Crimson Eagles, 8-0.
The Red and White dropped a disappointing 7-5 decision to UMass Dartmouth Wednesday morning, but bounced back by extracting revenge on Stevenson University. PBU upended the Mustangs 6-4.
