PBU Stopped in Regular Season Finale

Box Score

SCRANTON, PA - The men's basketball team failed to sustain a 58.6 percent first half shooting clip during the back end of play Saturday afternoon as Marywood University pulled out a 78-63 triumph.

The Crimson Eagles shot just 31 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes and turned the ball over 21 times for the game as the Pacers avenged a seven point overtime loss just two nights ago.

Willie Miller finished with 14 points and four steals for the visitors while reserve guard Adam Derus posted 12 points on five of six shooting from the floor. Nate Schrader added a double-double for PBU, finishing with 10 points, 11 boards, and three blocks.

Saturday's contest signals PBU's final regular season outing of the year as the group will shift focus to NCCAA Regional Play next Wednesday. The basketball team will go up against Lancaster Bible College on the road at a time to be determined.
