LANGHORNE, PA - The men's basketball team struggled to slow down Keystone's efficient offense Saturday afternoon as the visitors placed four players in double-figures during a 78-61 Giant triumph.
Keystone led from the opening tip-off and never looked back, drilling seven first half triples to take a 42-21 edge into the break. The Crimson Eagles would narrow the gap to as little as 12 deep into the second stanza, but the Giants managed to fend off the host group by forcing 23 turnovers for the game.
Both teams shot 45 percent for the game, but the Giants managed to wriggle several more offensive rebounds than PBU, turning those extra chances into 14 points. Keystone also punished the host group with 27 points off of the PBU's cough-ups on the offensive end.
Senior Willie Miller produced his top scoring game of the season, going off for 24 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort. Brett Zamroz added nine points and Luke Taylor chipped in with eight.
PBU will look to bounce back on Monday when the group goes up against Centenary College on the road at 8:00 pm.
