BALTIMORE, MD - Chelsea Troyer's overtime goal lifted the PBU women's soccer team to an exciting 2-1 win over the College of Notre Dame on Thursday.
While PBU completely dominated play with a 32-4 shots advantage, they were unable to take control of the game through the 2nd half.
Rachel Brubaker started the scoring as she finished on a penalty kick late in the 1st half go give PBU a 1-0 lead.
A mistake by the Crimson Eagle defense in the 2nd half would allow the Gators to tie the score as Notre Dame's Ashely Cumberland stole a pass in the PBU box and scored on the open look to even the score.
Notre Dame goalkeeper Melinda Dougherty was steller in goal as she made 22 saves to keep the Gators in the game.
PBU goalkeeper Kristen Lyszczasz only had to make two saves on the day.
The Crimson Eagles finish the year 5-14 overall and 4-6 in CSAC play.
