Clarks Summit, PA - The softball team split a doubleheader with Baptist Bible College Thursday afternoon, defeating the Defenders 9-3 in the opening game but falling 2-4 during the back end of play.

Five players registered a multi-hit game during the opening outing as PBU blistered BBC for thirteen hits in the contest en route to their tenth triumph of the season.

A low scoring affair in game two saw the host squad notch two scores in the fifth inning to break open a one run contest as Baptist churned out 10 hits in 26 at bats.

PBU moves to 10-10 overall on the season with a 7-3 record in the CSAC.

The softball team will return to action next Tuesday, taking on Neumann College on the road at 3:00 pm.
