La Plume, PA
- PBU's two-hour van ride back from northern PA wasn't as pleasant as perhaps initially hoped.

Keystone College, owners of just one CSAC win to enter Tuesday night's doubleheader with the Crimson Eagles, managed a game-clinching steal across home plate in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete a 5-4 upset in the second game of the evening.

Although the Crimson Eagles managed an 8-3 triumph during the opening contest, Tuesday's second game wasn't quite so anti-climatic.

Instead, it took extra innings and a Sabrina Johnson theft to finally decide game two's outcome. With two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the eight, Johnson's gutsy move ultimately gave the host squad just their second triumph of the season.

The opening match proved to be somewhat less uneventful as the Crimson Eagles scored in five of seven innings on the night off seven hits to run away with the 8-3 victory. Betsy Ranck once again proved to be a rock on the mound, allowing just six hits, no walks, and two earned runs through seven innings of work.

Jessica Ogden paced PBU with five hits and five scores on the night. Lauren Roth added a three for six performnce at the plate while knocking in two ribbies.

PBU will get back to action this Friday by hosting Immacula University in a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.
