Clermont, FL - Maybe a trip to the sunshine state is just what the doctor prescribed.
After getting somewhat drubbed in their opening two games of the year, the Crimson Eagles managed to dish out the licking this time around, pounding Franciscan University 14-1 Tuesday afternoon to pick up the team's first triumph of the season.
But things didn't stay so optimistic for PBU's revived offense later in the afternoon. Generating just one run in seven innings during game two against Bethel University, the Crimson Eagles fell 4-1 to slip their overall record to 1-3 on the year.
Statistics from the day's events are currently unavailable.
PBU will pay back-to-back games again tomorrow, taking on Medaille College at 1:30 pm and following up with a 3:30 pm meeting with Morrisville State College.
