Women's Soccer Shutout in Final Home Contest

Box Score

LANGHORNE, PA -
Cabrini College scored during the first five minutes of play and never looked back Thursday afternoon during a 4-0 Cavalier win over the Crimson Eagles.

The visitors struck early behind the efficient work of the third leading scorer in the CSAC, Sabina DeGisi, who notched her 13th goal of the season just 4:15 into the game.

DeGisa connected for a second time just over 10 minutes later, and would eventually pop in her third of the afternoon early in the second stanza to help give the Cavaliers a 3-0 edge.

Kara Hinkelmon would eventually round out the scoring for the visitors in the 72nd minute as the sophomore midfielder connected on a feed from Annmarie Kolla to give Cabrini the 4-0 cushion.

PBU managed just two shots on the day while Cabrini racked up 13 rips. The Cavaliers also held a 5-0 edge in corners.

The win marks Cabrini's eight straight while the Crimson Eagles fall to 3-11-1 on the year with the loss.

PBU will play in their second-to-last regular season game of the year this Saturday when the group goes up against Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit. Game time is 11:00 am.
