IMMACULATA, PA - The men's soccer team was upended 2-0 by Marywood University Saturday afternoon, marking the squad's fourth straight loss.
PBU struggled to get things going on the offensive end, registering just four shots for the game. After scoring 10 times during a four game stretch, the Crimson Eagles have been shutout during each of their last four outings.
On Saturday, the Pacers racked up 23 shots for the game including 15 in the second stanza alone during Marywood's third triumph of the season. The Pacers collected two scores in the second period, connecting on their first goal in the 58th minute while putting in an insurance tally late in the second half.
The Crimson Eagles slip to 5-9-2 on the year with the loss and stand at 1-5-1 in the CSAC. Marywood improves to 6-6-1 overall (4-1 CSAC).
PBU will look to bounce back on Wednesday when the squad hosts Rosemont College at 4:00 pm.
