LANGHORNE, PA - Following 45 minutes of scoreless play during the opening half, Neumann College exploded for three scores in the second stanza to blow past the men's soccer team 3-0 Saturday afternoon.
Neumann's Alfred Baa-Adomako broke the scoring drought just two minutes into the second period to put the visitors up 1-0. Ryan Bushback would add an insurance goal at the 63 minute mark, and Andrew Raimundo would finish things off with an unassisted score less than 10 minutes later.
Following a 7-6 edge in total shots for the opening period, the Knights began a controlled attack during the back end of play, keeping the ball in PBU's half for the majority of action. Neumann finished the stanza with a 9-1 advantage in total shots for period and a 16-7 margin for the game.
Crimson Eagle keeper Andy Ecker posted six saves for the afternoon in PBU's third CSAC loss of the season.
The soccer team falls to 5-7-2 on the year with a 1-3-1 mark in the conference. Neumann remains perfect in CSAC play with a 5-0 record with the win.
PBU will look to get back on track on Tuesday when the group takes on Cabrini College on the road at 6:00 pm.
