LANGHORNE, PA
- It has been many, many years since the Patriots of Valley Forge Christian college have been able to claim and celebrate a victory over longtime rival PBU. In fact, its been at least 30-plus meetings since they've last enjoyed the feat.

But this year's version of the Patriots are much different than past teams, to say the least.

Valley Forge - entering Thursday's game with PBU as the third ranked team in the nation - came into the Mason Activity Center riding a six game winning streak, averaging victories of 20-plus points during that span.

Although they weren't quite able to keep pace with their recent trend, the Patriots used 52.9 percent (nine for 17) from beyond the arc to roll to their seventh consecutive triumph during an 81-71 win over PBU Thursday evening.

PBU, meanwhile, was limited to 39.1percent shooting for the game including a paltry seven of 27 mark from beyond the arc.

Senior Tom Arthur paced the Crimson Eagles with 23 points and 11 boars while senior guard Dan O'Brien added 10 points and five assists. Junior Willie Miller Chipped in with five points, six assists, five steals, and two blocks in 30 minutes of work.

PBU will return to action on Saturday taking on Keystone College in the Mason Activity Center at 4:00 pm.
