Box Score

LANGHORNE, PA - Following a 1-0 disheartening loss to Fairleigh Dickinson University a year ago, the Crimson Eagles were looking to extract a bit of revenge against the Devils Wednesday afternoon. Ninety minutes and three goals later, PBU got their wish.

The Crimson Eagles exploded for their third greatest offensive performance of the year Wednesday and managed their second consecutive shutout of the season at the expense of the guests from New Jersey, overpowering Fairleigh Dickinson by a 3-0 margin.

Jeremy Dunham scored his first goal in the month of October, Phil Haas caged his first score of the year, and Leandro Dueck put home the first goal of his career on a day when the Devils actually outshot the host squad 13-11 for the afternoon.

Dunham, who leads the conference in total shots for the year and is fourth overall in points per game, rocketed four of 11 Crimson Eagle shots for the game. Sophomore keeper Andy Ecker registered eight saves for the afternoon.

After losing three straight, the Crimson Eagles have now won back-to-back games. PBU currently sits at 5-6 overall on the year, while Fairleigh Dickinson falls to 3-9.

The Crimson Eagles will wrap up the week with a critical conference contest against Centenary College. PBU will take on the Cyclones in Hackettstown, NJ at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
