LANGHORNE, PA - It was a dreary day in Langhorne all the way around as the women's soccer team fell victim to Moravian College on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, dropping a 7-0 decision to the Greyhounds.

Tracy Fitzpatrick once again proved to be a thorn in PBU's side as the Greyhound senior forward carded almost half of her team's seven scores, registering the first career hat trick of her four year career in the victory. The three goal outburst gives Fitzpatrick five total scores against the Crimson Eagles in their last two meetings.

Fitzpatrick notched all three of her scores in the opening 13:38 of play, almost single handedly putting the game out of reach early. With Fitzpatrick on the sidelines, Amanda Friedman soon took over the scoring duties as the junior forward registered two additional goals for the Greyhounds before the half to give the visitors a 5-0 advantage at the break.

Moravian held a 23-3 edge in shots for the day and a 4-2 advantage in corners.

The shutout loss marks the third straight game that the Crimson Eagles have failed to register a solo goal, and their fourth consecutive defeat overall. Moravian improves to 7-4 overall on the year while PBU slips to 2-8.

The Crimson Eagles will play in Langhorne for the second time in a row on Saturday during the Crimson Celebration, taking on winless conference foe Cedar Crest College at noon.
