Matt LoStracco

Cairn University Athletics announced Thursday, June 13 that Matt LoStracco has been named the Head Coach of the Cairn University Men's Lacrosse program, effective June 17, 2024.
 
LoStracco takes over the program after serving as the Associate Head Coach of The Ensworth School in Nashville, TN for the past two seasons in addition to leading the Nashville Elite club men's lacrosse program in 2024. A native of Chalfont, PA., LoStracco was a four-year letter-winner in lacrosse between two years at Archbishop Wood and Central Bucks South. He played collegiate lacrosse and ran track & field at Gwynedd Mercy University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in occupational science in 2021 before returning to pursue a master's degree in occupational therapy which he completed in 2022. LoStracco was a two-time Academic All-Conference player in lacrosse and named First Team All-Conference in the decathlon. 
 
Cairn University Director of Athletics David Babb remarked, "Matt has an overall love for athletics and for being a committed Christian.  He has collegiate experience as a player that will greatly aid him with his passions and goals as a coach. His personal experiences and walk with Christ have prepared him for to be a successful coach.  We are excited to have him join the coaching staff, and to be a valuable asset and mentor to our men's lacrosse student-athletes!"
