Effective July 17, 2025, Cairn University Director of Athletics David Babb has named Joshua Knight the Highlanders' next Head Baseball Coach in addition to Coordinator of Equipment, Facilities, and Event Management.
Knight comes across the field to the Highlander dugout after a playing & coaching career at Clarks Summit University we he led the program from 2022-2024, bringing in the Defenders' largest recruiting class in the program's final season. Knight then took his talents to Susquehanna University where he served as an Assistant Coach, overseeing the infielder while assisting with hitting and coaching first base.Â
Knight played baseball collegiately at Clarks Summit University for four seasons where was a two-time All-Conference selection, earning Clarks Summit's Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Award at the conclusion of his career in addition to a bachelors degree in Sports Management.
Knight is a native of Danville, PA.Â
