David Babb

David Babb '91

Cairn University alumnus David Babb '91 was named Director of Athletics in the summer of 2022.

Babb brings a plethora of experience to the AD position, having spent over 25 years in athletic leadership and administration, most recently serving 12 years as the Director of Athletics at Pennridge High School. Before Pennridge, Babb served at Quakertown High School for nine years as the Coordinator of Student Athletics and Activities and four years as the Athletic Director at Plumstead Christian School. Babb began his career as the Director of Athletics at Heartland Christian School in 1993.
 
During his time as a student at Cairn, Babb completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Bible and his Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration, while competing as a member of the men's soccer team and baseball team. In 1991, Babb received the Randy Ostien Award for Courage and Perseverance and was recently named an Honorable Mention on the Cairn Men's Soccer "90's All-Decade Team". Babb earned his Masters of Education in Athletic Administration from Temple University in 1993.
 
Babb is an active leader with multiple athletic ministry endeavors, including directing camp and missions trips with "Push the Rock" and the "Fellowship of Christian Athletes" (FCA).
