Cairn University Athletics

Alan Foy enters his first season as an Assistant Coach for the men's basketball program in 2023.

Foy joins the Cairn coaching staff after spending three years (2016-18, 2022-23) as the Head Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at The Cross Christian Academy in Seaford, Delaware, compiling a 48-25 record, winning the Mid East Regional Christian Championship during the 2017-2018 season. 

Additionally, Foy was on staff as an Assistant Coach at Doane Academy, his alma mater, from 2018-2021 and was apart of back-to-back New Jersey Prep-B State Championship runs, winning the first in school history and achieving a Penn-Jersey Conference Regular Season Championship. Foy also lead the Bordentown Regional HS Boys Varsity Basketball Team during the 2021-22 season. During his high school coaching tenure, Foy developed 16 former players into collegiate student-athletes.

Foy played High School Basketball at Doane Academy in Burlington, NJ, was named team captain. In college, Foy played at DeVry University (PA) for the first two seasons in program history while achieving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. 

Foy will be pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration at Cairn.
