Matt Milich has been named Director of Game Operations at Cairn University.
Milich a 2006 graduate of Cairn has most recently served as an Athletic Operations Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Milich served as game day manager for Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, Sprint Football, Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Soccer and Gymnastics. He also had the opportunity to assist with game operations for Football, Men’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, and the Penn Relays.
Prior to Penn he served as the Facilities Manager/Game Day Operations Intern at Haverford College where he was responsible for many duties within the department. Primary responsibilities at Haverford consisted of, event supervisor for home contests, managing the equipment room, scheduling practices, and supervising work studies. Milich also has experience working within the CSAC when he served as the Athletic Department Intern at Cabrini College.
Before making the change into collegiate athletics, Milich spent the 2011-2012 season serving as the Director of Ticketing and Game Day Operations for the Federal Hockey League’s New Jersey Outlaws.

Milich earned a Master’s degree in September of 2012, from Columbia Southern University in Sports Management.
Matt has served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Cairn in the past and as a player he appeared in 62 games recording 24 hits, driving in 12 RBI's and scoring 11 runs.
Milich resides in Newtown with his wife Mandy (07) and their two children Sophia and William.
